Mirage - 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts

Turn a Mirage in the light and the PVD coating shifts colour as it goes — that's where the name comes from, and photographs do not do it justice. Underneath the finish is a straight 90% tungsten barrel with a groove pattern running nearly its full length, a smooth bull nose at the front and a black point that continues the line cleanly.

The grip is the quieter kind. Grooves rather than knurling, running almost end to end, which means texture wherever you hold it without anything sharp enough to snag on release. That suits a relaxed hand — you're not clamping the barrel, you're resting on it.

At 52.8mm these are long barrels, and that length is what keeps them slim: 6.2mm at 23g, 6.5mm at 25g. Slim is worth having, because three darts physically need less room in a treble bed, and a long barrel also gives you scope to slide your hand forward or back and change how the dart balances without changing the dart.

Two weights, 23g and 25g.
