Six weights so finely stepped you could work out your ideal gram one at a time — the Opus runs 21g through 26g on a 51mm barrel, widening a tenth or two at each step from 6.7mm to 7.4mm.

Ranges this granular solve a real problem. Most players land on a weight by accident and stay there for years; with single gram steps on an identical barrel you can actually test whether 23g suits you better than 24g, rather than guessing between a 22g and a 25g that differ in three ways at once.

The 3.5 out of 5 grip sequence holds firmly through the release, and the straight centre-weighted profile leaves your hand position entirely open.

The set is better equipped than most: double flights and shafts plus a slim case, so you have spares from day one rather than after the first breakage.
