Cage is the bomb — short, wide and planted. At 45mm carrying 8.05mm at 26g, it's nearly seven millimetres shorter than the Gator and well over a millimetre fatter.

That combination changes the dart completely. The mass sits close to your hand rather than spread along a long barrel, so it feels solid the moment you pick it up, and there's a great deal of surface to locate against. Bomb profiles carry their width forward before tapering back, which puts weight towards the nose and gets the dart dropping into the board.

It suits a firm, deliberate throw, and it's the obvious answer if slim barrels have ever felt vague or fiddly in your hand.
