Ross Smith's flights in Unicorn's Ultrafly 100 range, cut to the AR1 shape.

AR1 is Unicorn's own aerofoil rather than one of the standard numbered shapes, which makes it worth understanding before buying. It is a moulded profile with a shaped surface rather than flat panels, designed to generate its drag through form as well as area.

Ultrafly 100 is the moulded construction at 100 micron. The aerofoil is formed into the material rather than created by a fold, so it cannot lose its shape as a crease tires — which is what happens to a folded flight long before it looks worn.

Smith has thrown a bare tungsten barrel since winning the 2022 European Championship.

Comes in AR1 and Plus. The bigger the flight, the more it brakes and steadies the dart; the smaller it is, the faster and flatter the dart travels. Plus sits between the standard and slim shapes, which is the gap most ranges leave empty.

AR1 is Unicorn's own cut, so it is worth trying against a shape you already know.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We pack all of our items as securely as possible to ensure they are delivered in the best possible condition.

In the unlikely event you have received a damaged or incorrect item, take a photo of the item along with the packing slip you received with the parcel and send them to us in an email.

We will arrange a replacement or credit as soon as possible.
