Beaton has been on tour longer than most current professionals have been alive, and the Legacy Edition is Winmau's nod to that.

The barrel is a short bomb profile at 43.2mm with a front-loaded balance — the mass sits ahead of your fingers and close to your hand at the same time, so the dart tips nose-down early and drops into the board. It is forgiving of a release that is not quite repeatable, because the barrel corrects itself on the way in.

At 7.16mm for a 22g there is a good amount of surface to hold, and the grip sits at a moderate 3 out of 5 — enough to keep the barrel in place without the bite that wears at your fingertips over a long night.
