About Scolia
About Scolia
Scolia is made by Scolia Technologies, based in Szeged, Hungary. Cameras mounted around the dartboard and a processing unit detect where each dart lands, work out the score in real time and record each throw's position for statistics. Scores, checkout suggestions and stats show in the Scolia app, which also runs online matches, tournaments and training.
What is Scolia known for?
Scolia scores a normal game on your own bristle board with your own steel tip darts, so nothing about the board or darts changes. Scolia quotes accuracy of about 99.5% for the Home 2 and about 99.8% for the Pro in its recommended setup, and the Home 2 has full support for the Winmau Blade 6 Triple Core.
Which Scolia range suits you?
Scolia Home 2: the compact model for homes and venues with limited wall space. It has a built-in light ring and native wireless, mounts to the wall with drilling, measures 75 x 85 x 29 cm and needs a ceiling of at least 215 cm.
Scolia Pro: the heavy-duty model for pubs, clubs and serious players. It measures 107 x 110 x 42 cm, needs a ceiling of at least 227 cm and a solid wall, and Scolia recommends a cable internet connection (a Wi-Fi adapter is an option).
Fliq camera: a front-facing camera that clips onto the top camera leg of the Home 2 (and most upgraded Home systems) so players can see each other in online matches. It streams only during online games.
